As usual, there are bonus points to be had: The “something slutty” is from Joel, but it doesn't fit Lindsey, so they make due.
If all of that is too specific, then just cut out whatever doesn't work/mix and match until it fits. Even a pseudo-fill is better than nothing.

So even if Joel knows FeedMe and Sonny aren't actually dating he gets a little jealous cause Sonny is saying FM is his boyfriend in public. And Sonny finds it cute that Joel is jealous. So it can lead to smut or just fluff.

Date: 2011-10-19 10:49 pm (UTC)Said individual was currently resting his head on Joel's chest, having drawn up his hands to his head and looking for all intend and purposes like a small child. The fact that his glasses are missing only make him seem younger.
Being too tired to wake up properly, Joel just kind of stares at Sonny, trying not to move to much when he raises one hand that he had fallen asleep on to get the blood circulating again.
Transfixed by the way Sonny keeps shifting and mumbling something in Joel's shirt he doesn't realize that he is unconsciously stroking the man's cheek. He only notices when he moves his hand again to shake out the pins and needles and that makes him feel like a dumb-ass teenager with a high school crush.
It's kind of awkward after that, he doesn't dare to move and not being able to fall back asleep means he's stuck staring at Sonny and listen to him breathe against his ribcage.

He tries not to think about it to much, but over the course of the next few months, he forms the habit of tucking Sonny's hair behind his ear just to touch his skin for a brief second. It's rather embarrassing but Sonny doesn't seem to mind. Nevertheless, Joel makes sure no one catches him being a giant sap.

They are getting drunk together at an after party and when Sonny hugs him, telling him how they are the bestest of dogs ever, he can't help but press his face against his cheek. It gets kind of weird when he can't let go because he is so utterly fascinated by the texture of Sonny's skin. So they just continue to stand there, Sonny happily giggling against Joel's neck and both forgetting the rest of the world exists.

“Dude, are you like, hitting on me?”
The question makes him freeze in front of the computer screen and briefly forget about the silly doodle of Meowingtons. He shifted in his chair only slightly, enough to catch Sonny in his periphal vision but not brave enough to actually face him. Trying to play it off as a joke he scoffs.
“You're reading to many fanfictions, man.”
He hears Sony huff indignantly and then walk over to him. He tries not to shrink into his chair but he can't help but flinch when the other grabs his hand.
“Then what's the deal with this?” And with that he puts Joel's hand on his face. And let's go. And even though Joel could let gravity take over his hand stays where it is, on Sonny's scarred and unshaven face. He moves his fingers slowly across the stubble he feels like he is experiencing an out of body moment when he sees his other hand out of the corner of his eye and move to cup Sonny's other cheek It's a quiet moment of panic for Joel because he has no idea what to expect now that has been acting like a lovesick puppy in front of his friend, but it ends when a smile spreads across Sonny's face and he can feel the muscles shift beneath his fingertips and he can't help but trace the laughter lines, and the bridge of his nose, and those lips, and suddenly Sonny is in his lap and he didn't even notice.
It's weird how it isn't awkward at all, Sonny smiling up at him and Joel grinning like an idiot in return. They end up with Sonny pressing the side of his face into the fabric of Joe's t-shirt while they watch stupid videos on the internet and Joel is reminded of back when they both crashed on the couch together and he hugs Sonny even tighter.
