He walked down the empty halls, bag casually slung over his shoulder, as he made his way toward the men’s room. Xavier was probably working on his hair again. It takes a lot to make it look that messy.
He made it toward the door and pushed it open but stopped abruptly. Was…was that sobbing he was hearing? He leaned closer to the door and heard a few more sniffles before a shaky and soft moan was let out. It sounded a lot like…Xavier?
He finally worked up the nerve to walk into the place but not without the pungent odor of cigarettes crashing against his nostrils. He coughed which must have alerted the cause of all the commotion. The smoke was rising from atop the last stall along with the loud sniffles and snorts.
Gaspard walked toward and briefly leaned in. The wailing immediately started up again loudly, startling Gaspard and causing him to jump back a little bit. Xavier was the only man he knew who could make a scream worse than any banshee, that fact supported by almost anyone at their school who had become victim to Xavier wrath, but this…this was not anger.
Gaspard knocked on the stall door which immediately shushed the wailing.
“Xavier? Is that you?” There was a long silence and then a silence before Gaspard was given a shaky, “uh-huh…”
Gaspard tried to push the door but it was locked, so Gaspard tried to coax him out.
“Xavier, Why are you crying mon choux?” Gaspard heard a deep breath be inhaled before a shrill voice screeched, “I’M NOT A FUCKING CABBAGE! AND I CAN CRY WHENEVER AND AS MUCH AS I WANT! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!” And with that Xavier resumed his wailing.
